White chocolate and cranberry cookies!

My neighbors across the street just moved in and I was thinking if cookies in a pandemic even made sense but my hospitable side won over my inner social distancer …And, then emboldened by a desire to be friendly in the midst of what has got to be a hard time to get moved in, looking for recipes I went. I baked these beauties to drop off with my neighbors in a socially distanced drop off on their porch and they did not disappoint. Cookies should be their own tiny little lantern of light and these are. They would be lovely at a tea party because they’re light, and sweet and a little bit decadent. This year I did not make as much fudge as I normally make (I made and actual single batch for my gram) so I had leftover white chocolate chips aplenty, my recipe search honestly focused on my desire to put them to good use in this recipe.

When they were well received I breathed a sigh of relief I made Doctor Fauci proud and still managed to be welcoming… I even had some leftover for my parents!

The dough is very basically pretty traditional chocolate chip cookie dough sans chocolate plus craisens and white chocolate chips. Enjoy!

Grease Your cookie sheet (or use parchment paper) place 2 inch balls on the sheets spaced evenly. I happened to have crisco so used this but uou could also use butter, margarine or a nonreactive oil with a hugh smoking temperature.
