Greens from the Garden brightening up my house
Milk bottles and repurposed wine rack decorated for the holidays
Decorating for the holidays I added green sprigs of pine in my milk bottle display in my house and added a tea light to a blown red glass vase for a homey glow.

Bathroom Design
Old green glass bottles, mason jars filled with sea glass and repurposed copper kitchen canisters add beauty to a sm space and create a soothing atmosphere.
Handmade Jewelry tree
Using cream paint river driftwood branches, a mason jar, collected river rocks, a jewelry tree was created. Functional and strikingly beautiful, it is a project easily completed which adds a tremendous amount to ambience of the room.

Repurposed and refinished antique wood sled planter
With a couple coats of cream and silver paint lovingly applied, this antique sled adds a whimsical yet functional touch to the room as a fun plant stand.
pretty and functional
I needed more cupboard room, so I invested in some mug hooks and went to town...As it happens, when you're trying' to do the correct thing, AWESOMENESS happened! My display added to the decor of my kitchen...this way (meaning my way)...is the best way!
What can I say? I have impeccable taste...and posable thumbs with which I was able to put the hardware into the side of my kitchen...

River Driftwood Cross display inspired by Spanish Churches
With a nod to humble tradition of handmade displays of faith, this group of nine expertly placed handmade crosses adds a touch of reverence to the most sacred space in this home, the bedroom.

Flaming-ingo
I scored this special, class-adding, kitchen making serving tray today...I cannot wait to serve NOTHING BUT AWESOMENESS in it.
My lovin' (get it?...my oven of love..badoom...)
Yeah, ya meant ta say "cha"...Artwork over the hood is a handmade driftwood heart which is framed by a hunter green free standing frame. The wine rack has been repurposed as rack for milk bottles and the vase holds a combination of cream painted branches from my backyard and preserved wild berries, in complimentary colors.
Yeah, it DOES make my omelettes taste more awesome to be cooked on a lovin'...
Homemade Bulletin Board
I made this homemade and homegrown bulletin board by repurposing a frame from Mayfest, coating with another coat of paint and glue-gunning a piece of flea market tapestry fabric tight to the back. Then I added raffia ribbons gluing them to either side of the bulletin board and displayed photos of my garden and my environment using tiny wood clothespins.
I think frames are awesome! I think we should bring back the craft of hand carved frames and repurpose the frames we find in our path because they add class to just about everything....OF COURSE!
I might be known to drink a Coors Light from a wine glass on occasion but I aways keep it classy. I got it from my Mamma.

Living Room, done colorful
People are always telling this lady to wear more color...Apparently I was like: How about if my living room wears color and I stick to clean and a little too much black?
I recently painted this table green and it compliments my coral/rust, cream and mustard color scheme...
With my garden I have green on the mind!
P.S. I bought orange pants..this should count a s*%t ton, at least for effort on the color front!

Designed by a goddam genius dressed up like a God Damn Goddess
This table was probably designed by a God Damn Goddess dressed up like a Goddamn Genius...If I met this table in a dark alley way it would be like "Table, it's like I dreamed ya into life because I designed ya, and there ya be!"...I designed this table and then saw it, true story.

Hand Painted and Hand Sewn Pillow designed with a leaf motif reminds us people who hurt us are left in the wind, like leaves on the side of the road.
As I created this pillow, I am also the master of my destiny and steer the ship of who I love, who I let in, how my story is told and who gets to hear it.

Fabric Installation
Using flea market fabric and a repurposed frame, I created this artwork for my bedroom...Looks super cool and it could double as an earring holder!
Handmade and Hand sewn pillow
Using Flea Market fabric, repurposed stuffing and some green remnants from another project, I created this quilt-esque pillow. Adds some pizzaz to my space and coordinates with my recently green-ifyed table.

buy pretty things and love the old
I was a brownie so we sang the song about making friends, but keeping the old. I use this philosphy in my design work- I add what I can afford and repurpose things in my path who still deserve their moment in the sun. This is a simple flower arrangement with Hydrangeas from my garden, some burlap ribbon and a repurposed Goya black beans can.
So pretty and completely free...from this lady

Milk bottle candle holders
I bought a bunch of old, well-loved milk bottles at my local flea market. This set of six is on my window sill and tea lights in the top make them a whimsical lighting fixture...if the powers goes out, at least my apartment'll be bathed in beauty...

It's a-pair-ent this is a design solution
I painted this painting over the canvas of another I didn't like and didn't resonate with me. It adds to the space. It is surprisingly big and adds a punch of color to the space while integrating seamlessly the more green accents I have recently added into the room.

Handmade Sea Shell place markers
Handmade shell place markers were easily made by cutting a strip of paper, tenting it, writing the individual's name on the paper and hot gluing it in place. And the drawings of shells were a bonus made possible by my signature fine tip precision V5 black ink pen.
I got up early when I was in Newport, walked the cliff walk and spent time walking the beach, collecting shells. I used the shells I collected in my dinner party - special things from a special place, used to make a special occasion for the special gente I invited.
Wine bottle lumineer
Using a bunch of bottles which were left at the curb in my neighborhood for any takers. and an old pot, I created this candle display. I cut the candles I bought at the dollar store down so they would fit in the opening and then I melted them in place.
I lit them and magic ensued...

Tin Can Vases
I created this part of vases from discarded tin cans which I thoroughly washed and repurposed. Using my hot glue gun I glued strips of fabric around the outside to coordinate with my dinners cape and filled them with Hydrangeas and Queen Ann's Lace from my garden.
Chalkboard Menu
Using my chalkboard form my kitchen I created a menu display for a recent dinner party under the stars. The fabric was tapestry fabric I bought at a flea market, the handle holders were vases I created from tin cans, strips of the tablecloth fabric, and filled with flowers from my garden.
Life's a beach
I made hand sewn placemats from tapestry fabric I bought at a local flea market and painstakingly cut original cloth napkins from fabric I had in my drawer. The napkin rings I hand made using two gages of wire and sea shells. I created placeholders for my guests from seashells collected from a recent trip to the beach, which I hot glue gunned into the bed of the shells. I decorated the glass table with an array of shells in homage to the summer (and my Shelly Collucio) as well as a vase of hydrangeas from my garden. I keep it clean and simple, but I had a vision and I made it happen.
And yeah, I did sew my placemats at a local coffee shop while drinking a beer and listening to Nicki Minaj on my headphones... I am a real Renaissance lady.

Dinner is served
I set up my backyard for a recent dinner party and using coordinating fabrics I had in my house and bought at my local flea market, I created a scene which was an homage to the beach, my garden, and our menu.
I repurposed a water can as a vase, and used a big shell as a vessel for aioli for our fish.
I didn't hire a party planner- I hired myself, because I am so damn good.
I am just joking...
I was interested in making this a special night, and my efforts, in this way, on this night, paid off.

Earring Display
Using a free frame, some repurposed flea market fabric, a can of spray paint and my glue gun I created this colorful, green (in every way except the spray paint) display for my earrings I made to generate some extra income!
